Salary: £38,000 - £47,000

A multi-disciplined engineering consultancy that specializes in providing sustainable development infrastructure solutions to their clients is looking for a civil flood risk engineer to join their water and infrastructure team in London.

Engineer Role:

1. The engineer will be managing the design process from inception to detail design and construction of new surface water management/flood alleviation projects, drainage strategies (foul and surface water inclusive of SuDS schemes), and producing and checking Flood Risk Assessments.
2. As the engineer, you will be providing advice to both public and private sector clients on a variety of projects such as residential, commercial, industrial, etc.
3. The engineer will be reporting to the Associate or Director.
4. Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments in Flood Zone 1, 2, and 3;
5. Undertake conceptual and detail design of flood alleviation works;

Engineer Requirements:

1. The engineer will have a minimum of 3 years plus experience, and your principal role will be the day-to-day running of your projects.
2. The engineer will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent commercial experience.
3. You will either have or be working towards CEng (MICE, or CIWEM) status.
4. Expert knowledge of WinDes software package or equivalent.
