Production Operatives - Penrith
Are you seeking a role in food production? We are currently hiring Production Operatives to join our team. With positions available for day shift.


Responsibilities:

As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our food production line


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and overseeing the production process to ensure smooth operations.
  • Loading materials into machinery, facilitating the production process.
  • Operating production machinery as per requirements.
  • Conducting thorough quality assurance and testing checks.
  • Collaborating in the assembly, packaging, and labeling of finished goods for shipment.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of machinery and production areas.
  • Observing and reporting any machine faults to line leaders.
  • Keeping work areas and equipment wellmaintained.

Job Details:

Salary: Starting from £10.50 per hour.
-
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 7am - 3pm.

Expected Start Date: Aug 14th, 2023.


Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
