    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Purolite is seeking a part time Administrative Assistant for a 6 month contract to support senior management and team members. In this role, you will participate in various projects and activities and provide advanced administrative support to leaders and the business. We are looking for a driven and resourceful Administrative Assistant who wants to work in an exciting and challenging environment.

    This role has the working hours of Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

  • What You Will Do:

  • Arranging on-site meetings
  • Supporting Purolite personnel with travel plans and customer site visits
  • Ordering/buying supplies
  • Other administrative tasks in sales or other departments
  • Reception cover (during absence of receptionist)
  • Provide organisational support for the following:Taking account of any special dietary requirements/needsEnsuring that equipment/supplies are available for use/consumptionProactively handling any issues that may occur and troubleshoot any emerging problems that may ariseEnsuring meeting rooms and kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy before and after use.Customer and other Purolite Personnel visits to the UK site, which may involve:Arranging Airport/hotel transfersProviding transport options (train/bus times/etc)Booking local taxisBooking and setting up on site meeting roomsMeeting up with manager/co-workers/suppliers to discuss and plan for upcoming events.
  • Perform other duties as and when requested by the Sales Office Manager.
  • What you will need:

  • Be IT literate (recording bookings).
  • Strong attention to detail (reconciliation of invoices; checking contracts; checking flight numbers/timings).
  • Act with tact, discretion and diplomacy. Ensure that confidentiality is maintained in certain situations.
  • Be self-motivated, with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision whilst, at the same time, being a strong team player.
  • Good communication skills are required (both verbal and written) with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels – internal to the company as well as external.
  • Must hold a full, valid, clean UK driving licence. Access to own transport is essential
  • Have a well-presented and professional appearance.
