Description
Our client is a major producer of a range of specialist products within the FMCG sector. Due to huge investment within both plant and people, they are now looking for a number of talented individuals to join their team.
The role is responsible for planning, design, set up, modifying, optimising, and monitoring manufacturing processes within the Site.
Key Responsibilities
Support Production in reducing/ eliminating equipment and tooling downtime, utilising analytical methodologies
Provision of technical support to Operations and Production Departments including resolution of design queries and investigation into failures
Design and implement new mechanical equipment
Facilitate continuous improvement for all processes
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, or processes and systems
Perform walkdowns with contractors to review upcoming tasks and obtain quotes as required
Comply with Health and Safety regulations, employing best practices
Experience
Engineering qualification or apprenticeship
At least 5 years related engineering experience in a Manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of manufacturing/ mechanical processes and equipment
Experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining complex production machinery
Strong Health and Safety and ISO awareness
IT and Systems competence
