My client is an organisation in the Financial services sector focusing on innovation and transformation.

They specialise across equity, fixed income, and private markets and multi asset strategies. The role will have to manage the source to process of all technology (including IT) procurement. Hybrid working patterns. Be part of the team with constantlearning, equality, and great opportunity


The role:
The purpose of this role is to ensure appropriate supplier onboarding is carried out on all suppliers.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing the end to end of all the technology contract negotiations, renewal and cost approvals
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing strong supplier management processes and key suppliers
  • Expert in managing vendor/supplier relationships in FS
  • To increase strategic sourcing using spend analytics and contractual data
  • Creative In providing business solutions
  • Methods in tendering process using (RFI/RFP/Eauctions)
  • Strong usage of technology to increase efficiencies
  • Accountable for the procurement framework on £50m+ spend

What you need to succeed:


  • CIPS level 4 preferred
  • Knowledge of MDM platform
  • Having a broad mindset with high agility work ethics
  • Strong procurement technology experiences in the FS industry
  • Strong understanding of the source to pay cycle including supplier management
  • People skills with the ability to motivate and influence others with strong negotiation skills
  • Experience within the investment management process and experience working directly with investment professionals
  • Able to manage stakeholders with strong communication/interpersonal skills with building key relationships
  • Relationship management skills and contract negotiation experience
