    About the role:


    Astute's Power team are partnering with one of the leading energy providers in the UK, They are looking to recruit a Performance Optimisation Lead Engineer to cover their sites in the London area.


    The Lead Engineer plays a vital part in driving the asset engineering performance, leading the end-to end projects on the fleet of assets.

    Responsibilities and duties:
    As the Performance Optimisation Lead Engineer you will:
    Manage the performance, including both commercial and technical, in power/heat plants.
    Use operational insight to enhance performance from energy, petrochemical and asset-based industries.
    Be involved engaging with stakeholders and overseeing on-site projects.
    Deliver and challenge customer service and cross business commitments within a 24/7 environment.
    Ensure health and safety is adhered to across complex commercial environments.


    Professional qualifications:
    We are looking for someone with the following:
    A qualification within engineering or equivalent (degree or HNC)
    Proficient in designing, commissioning, and maintaining diverse engineering assets.
    Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (CDM, HASWA, IGEM, etc.)
    Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
    IT Proficient


    Personal skills:
    The Station Manager role would suit someone who is:
    Experienced with an understanding of energy technology, inc energy centres, distribution networks and heat pumps.
    Experienced with delivering business objectives and driving asset engineering.
    Customer focused.
    Engineering background desired
    Great work ethic

    Salary and benefits of the Operator role:
    £63,035 - £79,595 DOE
    Pension
    Holiday pay
