Description
PCB Designer (hybrid available) - London - up to £55,000 + Bonus + Ex. Benefits - Permanent
The PCB Designer will join our client's team and play a crucial role in the design of high-reliability PCBs and Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs) used in cutting-edge solutions for Power Feeding Equipment which provides high voltage power to subsea fibre optic networks.
Opportunity to play a pivotal role in a team supporting critical global infrastructure projects.
Parts Library Management:
Create and maintain a comprehensive parts library in the CR5000/CR8000 database as requested by hardware design engineers
DFx Analysis:
Design For Manufacturability, Design For Assembly, Design For Test
Manufacturing Data:
Generate and maintain all PCB and PBA manufacturing data, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and drawings.
Respond to PCB fab Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis and manufacturing queries to ensure seamless production.
3D
Model Export:
Export 3D models to MCAD (Creo) for integration with our product models.
Electronics/Electrical Engineering diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proficiency in PCB design software
