    The International Recruitment Team play a vital role in facilitating Trust wide recruitment for a variation of roles. As an International Recruitment Officer, you will learn all aspects of the process and get the chance to meet a wide array of people from all walks of life.

    You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective administrative recruitment service, ensuring your team is compliant with not only departmental but also government procedures along with safe and ethical recruitment processes.

    Main duties of the job

    The post holder will have the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a calm and approachable composure. Flexibility to meet arrivals, Strong administrative and communication skills are essential with experience of recruitment or UKBA legislations being an advantage.

    We currently operate a hybrid working model once you have completed your face-to-face training.

    Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent. The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 760,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex. The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country. We employ more than 7,000 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
  • Desirable

  • CPP or equivalent
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Recruitment/ HR adminisrative customer service role
  • Confidently identifying and checking UKBA requirements
  • Delivering a high volume customer focused recruitment / HR service which is compliant with legislation and best practice.
  • Advanced Keyboard skills within a work environment including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Desirable

  • International Recruitment experience
  • Recent experience of working within the NHS
  • ESR data entry and interrogation.
  • Knowledge

    Essential

  • Fair recruitment and selection procedures including workforce diversity and equal of opportunity
  • Excellent working knowledge of NHS Employment Standards
