Pre-Sales Consultant (Cyber Security)

Location: Manchester, England (Hybrid)

Type: Full Time

Salary: Up to £80,000 plus commission (£100K total package)

A leading cybersecurity company is seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team and deliver technical security strategies and solutions for our clients. You will partner with sales teams to provide expert advice on technologies from vendors like Fortinet, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical responses to RFPs/RFIs
• Deliver presentations on relevant security solutions
• Drive proof of concepts and pilots
• Keep updated on the latest innovations and trends
• Create compelling content like blogs, videos, articles
• Become a subject matter expert in a chosen domain

Required Skills:

• 3+ years in technical pre-sales or sales engineering
• Background in security solutions for Fortinet, Palo Alto etc
• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity trends
• Ability to interpret customer landscape and challenges
• Strong presentation and client-facing skills

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge across EDR, SIEM, Vulnerability Management
• Operational experience with security technologies
• Existing relationships in Manchester area
• Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously

Job Specifics:

• This is a hybrid role based around Manchester, with the expectation of occasional attendance at the Basingstoke office
• Hours are full-time: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
• Some travel should be expected, including overnight stays in the UK and occasionally abroad when necessary
• You will be required to attend customer sites across the UK and must therefore hold a full UK driving licence
