Contract

£200.08 per day PAYE

Our client is looking for an experienced Community Safety Officer.
To lead on the council delivery of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) portfolio area.

This will include working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and ensure effective delivery and future planning of service delivery.

This will include delivery of the VAWG commitments as stated in the Councils Borough plan and VAWG Strategy and associated delivery plans.

Knowledge, including educational qualifications:

Relevant degree and/or professional qualification, or work experience of at least equivalent level.
A comprehensive knowledge of current legislation, policy and practice developments relating to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

Experience:

Experience of working in the domestic abuse/Violence Against Women and Girls field
Experience of development of strategies and action plans, and presentation of ideas and deliverable actions to achieve strategic goals
Evidence of ability to, produce reports and policy responses for committees and external bodies.
