- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on airport vehicles and plant equipment, including HGVs and heavy plant machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and within the required timeframes.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide exceptional service and support to ensure the reliability and safety of all airport equipment.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a background in HGVs, buses, coaches, heavy plant machinery, municipal vehicles, or military vehicles.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
