Job Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Administrator/ Assistant to join the HR Department. You will support the factory colleagues on site with HR administration and recruitment needs.

You will be able to show resilience and able to handle a busy workload and you must be a strong communicator with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels.

This is an excellent role where you will be able to grow and develop your existing skills.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Responsible for administration including contract amendments and letters
  • Updating and maintaining employee records and assisting to digitalise records
  • Note taking in meetings, support Managers with investigation and disciplinary meetings
  • Carrying out disciplinary hearings to a certain level
  • Organising meetings and creating relevant communication
  • Managing the absence procedure
  • Supporting the Managers and Team Leaders with HR/ Employee related issues
  • Supporting the Employee Relations Manager with administrative duties
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies, organising interviews and supporting with interviews when required
  • Other adhoc administration duties as required

To the Employee Relations Manager


Working Hours:


Qualifications & Skills:


  • At least 1 year's HR Administration/ Assistant experience
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal


  • Computer literacy skills

  • Microsoft package
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be flexible, organised and calm under pressure

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Selfsufficient and confident in asking questions
  • A positive, outgoing, and proactive person
