About the role:


As a Cluster Team Manager at Hft you will be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible by leading a team of support workers and support practitioners to provide the best service we can.

The cluster manager currently will be responsible for a 4 bed all male supported living service.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Registered Area Manager by managing delegated responsibilities including,

  • The daytoday running of the supported living activity/services
  • Being responsible and accountable for monitoring/ providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support
  • Maintaining high levels of service delivery
  • Nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for Hft
  • Promoting independence and choice to the people we support
  • Helping to ensure we have the best staff teams offering great support service
  • Demonstrating excellent support
  • Conducting supervisions and line management of teams of support workers
  • Supporting all staff with duties set out in the Support Worker job descriptions
As a Cluster Team Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service.

We provide 24/7 support for some of the people we care for, so you will need to have flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis, including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.


About you:


We are looking for

  • Enthusiastic individuals who have experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities
  • Individuals with an empathetic approach
  • Experience with Autism and Positive Behaviour Plans
  • A can do attitude
  • Experience of maintaining records with good IT skills
  • Strong communication skills


For this role you will need to hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or acceptable equivalent) or have the ability to achieve this within months of appointment fully funded by HFT.
