Aspire Regional Employment Officer - Fixed term for 1 year**

To be responsible for influencing, creating new regional links, and the engagement of regional employers and partners to ensure there is a coordinated approach to the Aspire Shared Apprenticeship model.

The role will be responsible for aligning existing and emerging needs of businesses and individuals.

The role must ensure that it aligns objectives to those set by the Cardiff City Region in line with the funding requirements.


Undertaking advisory duties within the Aspire team/in addition co-ordinate recruitment of apprentices and host employers (External) onto the Aspire Programme, overseeing the mentoring of the young people and guidance to the employers to ensure high retention rates in line with Welsh Government funding requirements.

With effect from 1st April 2021 Welsh Language Level 1 is an essential requirement for all new appointments to Corporate roles and you must be able to evidence this prior to starting work with the Authority.
