Recruitment (Resourcing) Assistant

£22,816 - £24,336 pro rata per annum

21 hours a week - Permanent

This list is not exhaustive, but includes some of the main responsibilities of the role:

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and issue conditional offer letters and contracts
  • Initiate and carry out all preemployment checks in compliance with NHS Employers and Home Office standards, with a good understanding of ID and Right To Work Checks
  • Carry out any additional checks which have been locally agreed to expedite recruitment e.g. risk assessments
  • Assist in the administration and coordination of Medical recruitment panel
  • Support the preemployment checks for rotational doctors
  • Update and use ESR (Electronic Staff Records)
  • Advertise vacancies across a variety of platforms including Social Media
  • Actively follow up and keep recruiting managers and applicants informed of progress of the time to hire process
  • Represent the Trust at internal and external careers and recruitment events which may take place outside of normal working hours
  • Provide administration support to adhoc projects or processes
  • Have a good understanding of Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions of Service, Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions, Trust policy and procedures;
