    Description

    Orb Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking a General Operative to join our client an industry leader in the Industrial and Engineering sector. This is a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.

    The Role

    • Working alongside experienced operatives to learn various roles, such as Laser Cutting, Shot Blasting, Assembly, Paint Spraying and much more.
    • Attention to detail, often working to diagrams and specific measurements.
    • Assist in the production process by operating machinery and equipment.
    • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
    • Handle materials and products with care to prevent damage.
    • Support other team members as needed to meet production goals

    Requirements

    • Previous experience or knowledge of Industrial and/or Engineering equipment and machinery.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
    • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move throughout the shift
    • Driving License and own transport

    Working Hours

    • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

    Salary

    • £11.44 per hour or £25,282.40 per annum - For first 12 weeks while completing probationary period.
    • Following the completion of probationary period, this will increase to £12.50 per hour or £27,625.00 per annum.
