    Industry Manager Oil & Gas

    Process Instrumentation

    Manchester or Northeast / Central Scotland

    Endress+Hauser is a leading and innovative company in the Oil and Gas industry, committed to sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking an individual with extensive Oil+Gas industry experience capable of creating strategy and developing new business opportunities. In addition, this role involves servicing a few specific national and international strategic accounts, all of which are in the UK. The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to manage across all the companies processes to gain the desired results.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    Developing and growing UK Oil+Gas business, with a particular focus on emerging technologies such as hydrogen and CCUS that are driving the transition to clean energies.

    Devising and implementing Oil+Gas strategies in close liaison with the Marketing Manager Products & Industries

    Maximising existing business opportunities with cross selling and via intelligent product segmentation

    Identifying and developing new business opportunities.

    Responsibility for sales coverage of any customers personally assigned to you.

    Assessing, developing, and recording of pipeline opportunities within Salesforce to ensure continuity and coordination of sales actions.

    Networking and interfacing with the Sales and Marketing processes to ensure coverage of Oil+Gas customers outside your direct responsibility.

    Working closely with EPC Contractor Manager and associated Tendering Team on Oil+Gas related projects to ensure all influencers are covered.

    Working with Marketing Communications to plan and manage internal & external seminars, lunch & learn sessions, and exhibitions.

    Participating in Endress+Hausers global industry network and if appropriate in SIG Oil+Gas (Strategic Industry Group) to identify gaps in our offering and hence influence future product development for the Oil+Gas industry.

    To monitor, measure and react to changes in market trends, market size and market specific legislation, providing clear strategic direction to the UK sales organisation.

    Qualification + Profile

    Technical engineering qualification, minimum HNC level, although relevant experience is essential.

    Thorough knowledge of Oil+Gas industry, applications, and legislation

    Good contact base within Oil+Gas industry

    Knowledge of Control & Automation, both practical and market orientated.

    Extensive sales experience

    A good level of marketing experience or willingness to learn
