    Job summary

    As part of the Quality Team you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Pathology Quality Management System, which includes the Pathology management document system such as Q-Pulse as directed by the Pan-pathology Quality Manager.

    The Quality Information Administrator will provide support to the Pan-pathology quality manager and the Quality team to ensure that the quality of service is enhanced.

    It will include liaising with departmental quality leads and others in the support of internal audit activity and maintenance of document control systems using Q-Pulse database along with other modules, as well as training to all level of staff.

    Main duties of the job

    The post holder is required to provide comprehensive, administrative to the Pan-pathology Quality manager and Quality team using a variety of systems associated with the Laboratory Information System.

    This will involve accurate inputting and extracting data skills and the ability to perform, charts, graphs, handling enquiries and problem solving, monitoring trends, along working to stringent policies and standards.

    The Post holder will assist in training such as Audit training and Q-Pulse module (including Document, Incident (CA/PA) , etc.) training to staff within departments of the Pathology department. Provide training and demonstrate office systems to colleagues and trains new starters as required.

    The Quality information Administrator will need excellent knowledge and skills of such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Able to demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work as an individual and plan, prioritize own workload, as well as being part of a team.

  • oMinimum NVQ Business /Admin level 3 or A levels or Higher apprenticeship award in Business admin or similar or min 2 years equivalent relevant experience

  • oExcellent knowledge and skills of IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
