Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with our Newton Aycliffe based client in their search for several machine operators.

Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of light steel frames, having been established for over 16 years.

They are committed to providing a high level of service to clients, that include local authorities and private construction firms.


Key details:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Dayshift, with a possibility to move to a 2 shift pattern (with shift allowance)
  • Monday to Thursday
  • Friday
  • 12 week temp to perm

Duties:


  • Operate and monitor various types of machines, in bending and profiling metal frames
  • Set up and adjust machine settings according to specifications
  • Load materials into machines and ensure proper alignment
  • Use hand tools to assemble steel and aluminium frames
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
  • Familiarity with hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
  • Excellent problemsolving skills

Job Type:
Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 weeks


Salary:
£10.96-£12.37 per hour
