    WHAT TO EXPECT


    JLR are currently looking to hire for the position of a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Propulsion Technical Delivery Manager, who will be responsible for leading the technical application and project delivery of the BEV Propulsion Systems into their respective vehicle programmes.

    Acting as the primary interface into our vehicle programme and our partners programme whilst representing the wider Propulsion community, you will utilise knowledge of Electrified Propulsion technology.

    You will be working across the entire propulsion department, mainly focused on HW/SW integration, unit programmes, and cooling systems, while also taking responsibility for test and development plans, system and component level testing, and subsequent planning and sign offs of said tasks.

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    Delivery of your BEV Propulsion System, aligned to the needs & requirements of the consolidated Propulsion Strategy

    Working closely with the Senior Product Owner and with sympathy to the portfolio of Propulsion projects, using Agile methods to align on the Product Roadmap prioritisation at each Sprint and each Quarter

    Define and lead the test and development plan for the integration of all propulsion content ahead of vehicle testing. To include virtual, software and physical methods.


    Lead and organise work activities in alignment with the Product Roadmap and ensure prompt resolution of issues, utilising Agile structures along the way e.g.

    Daily Stand-Ups, Group Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, Showcase

    Monitor team performance and lead/facilitate or escalate problem resolution for all aspects of programme delivery, including virtual build, physical build and launch support

    Represent Propulsion in external communication and stakeholder management, ensuring Agile Showcase events enable a clear and succinct input into internal customer teams

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED


    In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have a broad technical background across all types of propulsions systems.

    Experience in similar disciplines such as PHEV/BEV/EV products would be ideal. You will also need experience within certification, as well as component and delivery experience within Hardware and Software.

    Following on from the previous point, experience working on end-to-end product delivery experience from concept to job 1 +90 will be needed due to the nature of the job requirements.

    You will need to have been involved in the test and development of propulsion systems, as well as experience in having whole system responsibility.

    Essential:

    Previous experience of working in a Technical Project Management environment, solving complex technical issues with a structured approach, and able to demonstrate a track record of successful delivery

    Experience of BEV Propulsion Systems and/or commodity delivery


    Component and delivery experience within HW/SW, and end to end product delivery knowledge and experience, understanding the full development process.
