Streetworks Coordinator
We're looking for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our
Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team based in Maple Cross, Hertfordshire
.
Kier's Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.
In this role, you'll be working on our UKPN contract, supporting in optimising the effectiveness of the discipline streetworks management to deliver proactive solutions that enable smooth transition from planning and design into construction.

Permanent, full time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Streetworks Coordinator, you'll be working within the
Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team, supporting them in coordinating the process of permits and notices to the local authority for the operational teams.
Your day to day will include:
- Processing and monitoring of Traffic Management Applications.
- Support internal departments such as planning and depot teams with street work issues.
- Build excellent working relationships with key Highway Authority staff in order to help ensure communication is optimised and early warnings can be given of any issues relating to works
What are we looking for?
This role of Streetworks Coordinator is great for you if:
- Understanding the street works legislation relating to New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 200
- Full understanding of Street Works compliance reports and implications from none compliance
- Excellent IT and communication skills
