Overview


Our Client is a National Social Housing Developer located throughout Yorkshire, Who is looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals, who take pride in what they do.

You should be capable of supervising all facets of construction at all levels and be fully conversant with all aspects of social housing; as well as possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate site staff.


This position will involve working and representing a leading social housing contractor that covers refurbishment works on behalf of the local authority carrying out kitchen and bathroom schemes, adaptations, planned works and the possibility of reactive maintenance works.


Duties
The job role of a Tenant Liaison Officer involves the following duties:

  • Liaising with both clients and tenants, reporting progress to both staff and public
  • Communicate with residents on planned works schemes such as Kitchen & Bathroom replacements.
  • Provide a warm and friendly service to residents to minimise any disruption.
  • Provide a clear link between residents, clients, and management before, during and after works.
  • Liaise with the operational team daily to ensure all works are completed to the schedule.
  • Assist with contract administration, including appointment letters, reminders, and phone calls to ensure the resident is ready for us to start work on the agreed date.
  • Regularly visiting residents in their home to not individual requirements and preferences
  • Support vulnerable residents i.e., liaising with carers and family.
  • Deal with complaints from the initial complaint to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Gain and collate resident feedback via questionnaires.
  • Attend site meetings/client meetings.
The working hours are 8:30-4:00 with a 30-minute break.


Requirements/Experience

  • Experience within the social housing sector or in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years/ Experience in Customer Service or previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good communicational skills and a natural problem solver
  • Must be a confident yet polite individual when communicating with residents, clients, and site operatives to establish working relations with them.
  • Driving License
  • Good IT skills with competency at Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic
