The technology and engineering teams arecritical to achieving this aim and ultimately the future strategyof the Staysure Group as it evolves to become a technology firstorganisation. .

    Bolstering the technicalleadership capability by blending impactful people leadership andtechnology credibility the Back End Engineering Manager willinitially lead a talented engineering team of 25 predominatelybased in Staysures development centres in Sri Lanka and India. With5 Technical Leads reporting directly into thisrole

    Your primary responsibilities willinclude coaching and mentoring junior team members to establish astrong .Net foundation within the company. You will lead the teamin designing developing and maintaining web applications using .Netwhile ensuring code quality through the introduction of bestpractice and new standards.

    Our primarydevelopment center is based in Sri Lanka and we would need you tobe experienced in working with remote teams. Travel to the teamperiodically throughout the year will be required in thisrole.

    Essential Experience andSkills:

    • Provenexperience as a Senior .Net Developer Lead or Architect or asimilar role.
    • Strong understanding of .NetFramework and C# .
    • Hands on experience withMicrosoft Visual studio.
    • Knowledge of RESTfulAPIs and asynchronous data handling.
    • Youllline manage mentor and coach software engineers while focusing ontheir engagement retention growth and careerdevelopment.
    • Experience in the configuration& management of CI/CD tooling.
    • Apassion for driving continuous improvement and fostering a cultureof innovation
    • A core understanding of webdevelopment technologies such as HTML CSS andJavaScript.

    Process andTools:

    • Agile forestimates story points sprints demos and flexibility.
    • Bitbucket for code versioning.
    • Jiraand Confluence for documentation and ticket management service deskand knowledge base.
    • Jenkins as the Buildtool.
