    SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

    Up to £90,000

    BIRMINGHAM (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)

    COMPANY:

    This company is the Largest and best discounter in the UK, they have an ambitious growth strategy and undergoing a data transformation

    They are looking for a Data Scientist to join their team, to work of several exciting forecasting projects, supporting their global restructuring.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Seeking opportunities to leverage your own choice of forecasting models to innovate and enhance current methods.
    • Taking a proactive approach to identifying use cases and applying forecasting models in areas of business development.
    • Use programming languages such as Python, and SQL.
    • Collaborate closely with researchers, software developers, and business leaders to define precise product requirements, offer analytical support, and provide valuable feedback.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • MSc or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
    • Extremely self-motivated and able to operate independently.
    • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
