Description

Greenwell Gleeson are working exclusively with a highly acquisitive international manufacturing group.

Owing to the continued success they have created an opportunity for a Group Head of Tax to join the group finance function.

Reporting to the CFO therole holder will take responsibility for developing and implementing group wide tax strategy and provide strategic and operation tax advice to the board.

The key aspects of the role will be:

Full responsibility for all taxation matters across the group
Work alongside external advisors to develop and execute group wide tax strategy and provide effective tax planning across the group
Manage transfer pricing strategy across the territories
Take ownership of Tax calculations and ensuring submission of corporate tax computations for all Group entities
Ownership of all indirect tax including VAT
Involvement in acquisitions from due diligence and tax planning, through to integration of acquisitions
Drive initiatives to enhance performance by implementing effective tax planning initiatives for corporation tax and VAT
Manage relationship with external advisors and tax authorities.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills and experience's:

Qualified accountant and tax advisor having trained within a large audit firm
Excellent and up to date technical tax expertise
Experience of working with large internationally diverse complex group (Desirable)
Ability to effectively communicate across the business and externally
