    Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

    As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on students with SEN.

    Leading and delivering small group interventions and targeted support sessions to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.

    # Supporting classroom teachers in planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality teaching and learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
    # Providing guidance and support to Teaching Assistants and other support staff to ensure the effective implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
    # Assisting with the assessment and monitoring of student progress, and providing feedback to teachers and SENCO.
    # Contributing to the development and implementation of whole-school strategies to promote inclusion, equality, and diversity.
    # To excel in this role, you will need:

    Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a secondary school or similar setting, preferably with students with SEN.

    A relevant qualification in education or equivalent experience, such as a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
    A commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and diversity within the school community.
