Description

We are currently working with a leading manufacturing business based in Cardiff and are looking for a Site Manager, to manage the current team and site.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for day to day running and operational performance of the site to ensure achievement of annual budgets
  • Manage Daily Production, Process and Performance Improvement
  • Provide Technical support for the day to day running of the Manufacturing facility
  • Responsible for driving the reduction in overall manufacturing costs
  • Stand as deputy to the site General Manager, supporting with all site issues
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement tooling and equipment improvements
  • Ensure all activities are in line with Safety and Quality guidelines
  • Support and developed the wider production/manufacturing engineering team
  • Supporting employee engagement
The Person

  • Experience of Operations management in an engineering environment
  • Strong leadership skills to build high performing teams
  • Great communication between all departments
  • Familiar with LEAN Manufacturing principles
  • Through understanding of HS & E legislation
  • Previous Customer relationship management experience
