We're recruiting for a Planning Manager to join our client who are delivering one of the largest infrastructure schemes in the UK.
This position will lead the Planning function to prioritise and coordinate construction and design activities to maintain delivery of the specified section of works.
The Planning Manager will lead the team in building, optimising and updating the project plans during project execution, from engineering process to project handover.
The role will also lead on all scheduling related matters both internally and externally with the client.This position is key in the management of all planning activities in the area, taking action to improve and optimise Construction Project Plans and working closely with the area lead and subcontractors.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Competent using Primavera P6Experience in a similar position within a construction environmentDemonstrable experience and knowledge of planning and scheduling techniquesUnderstanding of NEC3 contractsExcellent Excel skillsKnowledge of the O365 packageRecognised professional membership such as ICE, APM or PMPYou must hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle.
