Hi, I'm Jo Morgan, the proud CEO of Shaw Education Trust.

We are focused on harnessing the power of people to affect positive change for our children and young adults.

We work closely with children, leaders, teachers and support teams, to create their individual best futures: one size fits one.

Education should be an exciting space, buzzing with vibrancy, dynamism and unlimited potential.

We are looking for talented educators to help us continue our journey, we are looking for diverse, ambitious teachers who want to help us to enhance the lives of our young people.

We want teachers who are driven by the desire to help young people, teachers who want to grow professionally and personally and those whose ambitions match our own.

We are keen to grow and invest in talent, and welcome enthusiastic and dedicated people who are interested in furthering their career in one of our supportive, ambitious academies.

Our valued and professional school and trust support team ay a very important role in ensuring students are learning in a safe and supportive learning environment and supporting our teachers and Leadership teams.

They can foster positive, trusting relationships with students and improve school climate by encouraging parent and family involvement in their students' education.

Because students connect with school support staff on many occasions throughout the school day, support staff can model positive behaviour and send positive messages to students as well.

Fantastic teachers combined with fantastic support staff equals students who excel.

These courses include all of the National Professional Qualifications – NPQH, NPQSL, NPQEYL, NPQLL, NPQLT, NPQLTD, NPQLBC are all delivered by the Shaw Education Trust as a delivery partner for Ambition Institute.

    Our Head Office

Our new innovative head office space allows collaborative working as one team; Providing four large naturally ventilated open planed office spaces coupled with 5 meeting rooms an impressive reception area, whilst featuring an awesome conference room that hosts 70 spaces paired with a kitchen and 55 space breakout area.

The new acoustic ceilings have fabulous sound and thermal properties, natural lighting, soothing colour palettes, and ergonomic furniture was incorporated to foster a comfortable atmosphere.

We are proud of the highly talented staff members working within both the central team and across our schools.

To support our employees in maintaining this level of excellence and help them to achieve their career goals, we offer regular upskilling and training opportunities.

The well-crafted continuous professional development (CPD) we provide benefits not only the individual staff member, but their profession, the organisation, and most importantly the students and young people in our schools too.

To enable all our employees to easily access quality CPD, we established the Institution of Education which provides a wide range of training and research-based opportunities aimed at continually developing staff knowledge and practice.

These cover a variety of teaching and operational topics, from curriculum development and leadership skills, to premises management and first aid.

We also encourage collaboration within and between our academies, creating a community of professionals who share a wide range of valuable experience and specialist knowledge.

This is supported through our network of 'hubs' across our schools, covering all teaching subjects and operational areas.

Our regular hub meetings enable staff members to stay up-to-date with latest guidance and skills, as well as collaborate with others from different school settings.
