    Our client is a software technology company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the global logistics market, currently working as an autonomous UK development organisation for a $100m US-based worldwide distributor and manufacturer of consumable automotive parts.

    Over the last 15 years multiple systems have been developed for the US company and as a bi-product, substantial amounts of tech debt have accumulated.

    The US company is now ready to address this tech debt but is also keen to continue delivering enhancements to the software that improve the efficiency of their business processes and improve their customer facing systems.

    We require a creative thinker coupled with strong skills across the Full Microsoft stack including but not limited to:

    NET
    C#

    NET
    SQL Server
    Confident independent worker who is a comfortable working remotely as a self-starter with limited supervision.

    We are looking for one that has a flexible attitude and a desire to learn new, related skills and experiences.

    The Opportunity to actively engage in all stages of the software development life cycle, from feature definition to delivery and ongoing review and improvement.

    Create solution designs and a road map that explain the problem, the architecture, how the system works, key considerations for security and data privacy and how it will be delivered aligning to architecture and delivery standards.

    Apply modern software development practices.

    Ability to create efficient and robust designs for software components and effectively communicate and document these to the team and client.

    Support and maintain existing software as well as getting involved with greenfield projects.
    Unit and integration testing of components under development.
    Extensive experience of working with server, desktop, and networks.
    Familiarity with security and data protection best practices.
    Worked within project delivery frameworks, able to demonstrate time management and labour estimating.
