Job summary:

Companies House is in a period of organisation-wide transformation aiming to have brilliant people working with brilliant systems delivering brilliant services.

Developing and implementing the next generation of the Companies House Data Strategy is key to the success of this delivery.

As such this role provides the post holder with a fantastic opportunity to help shape and drive data maturity across the organisation.

The utilisation of effective analysis within front line operational services and policy areas has been growing over a number of years.

The need to expand our data maturity across the lifecycle of our enterprise-wide data is now crucial to being able to maximise the trust, confidence and value in our register data.

As we are now moving into a place where demand is growing on our data, both internally and externally, the need for better quality data is paramount.

The postholder will work to establish, maintain and govern principles, standards and policies on data across Companies House, while ensuring that new ways of working are integrated into teams across the entire organisation.

This is a leadership role that requires organisation-wide strategic thinking.

We are currently using a hybrid approach to the way we work.

Our approach to hybrid working provides opportunities for you to be adaptable in the way you work so that you can achieve a healthy balance between your work and home life.

We currently expect people to attend their base office a minimum of one day a week but the exact degree of choice you have will depend on your role and your day-to-day work activities and should be agreed through discussions with your line manager.
