This is a growing, modern and recognisable multinational merchandising business based in Manchester, who are looking for a VAT analyst to join their in-house tax team.

The business partners with a range of large, global brands and assists with logistics, marketing, sustainability and account management - offering a bespoke range of services and support to their client base.

The company also offers an excellent range of benefits for the right person joining the tax team.

This role will see you handle VAT matters for business, whilst working as part of the Indirect Tax team, and the wider UK tax function.

Training and extensive support will be provided. Coordinate data input and manage master data accordingly.
Assist with corporation tax returns when required.
Monitoring VAT payments and refunds.
Reconciliation of VAT related balance sheet accounts, including providing accurate summaries and timely resolutions

You must have a good knowledge of IT systems such as Excel.

This position offers a salary up to £30,000 and a bonus/benefits package, along with excellent opportunities to further progress and grow within your career.

The role will see you working as part of a large in-house tax team, led by a senior Head of Tax who can offer excellent training and guidance.

The role offers hybrid working too (2 days maximum in the office each week), and early finishes on Friday.
