    1 x Central Reporting & Performance Analyst - Full Time, Permanent

    Shift: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs

    Position Summary:

    The primary purpose of the job is to support the Finance Manager and the Finance Management Accounting Team (team of 8) in providing high quality financial and management information to the business.

    This includes preparation of weekly volume reporting, payroll, financial accounts and KPI scorecards, providing analyst support to Central (Head Office) Departments, providing support for production and analysis of monthly reports (Business Financial Pack, Departmental Packs and McDonald's Management Accounts) and regular regulatory reporting.

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Production of weekly reporting working very closely with the Finance Analysts based at the Distribution Centres:- volume reporting, preparation of payroll, financial accounts and KPI scorecards and preparation of weekly variance analysis
  • Provide central analyst support to Central departments including:
  • lead Central month end process with journal process and reviewing cost performance
  • production of formal monthly Central department reports and analysis work to support central review meetings with Directors
  • lead in the annual budget-setting process and the quarterly forecasts for Central departments
  • Provide analyst support for the production and associated related-analysis work relating to month-end reports (e.g. Business Monthly Financial Pack, Departmental Packs, McDonald's Management Accounts)
  • Production of regular regulatory reporting for Corporate, tax regulations around packaging and plastic working closely with quality team
  • Produce the monthly and quarterly Operational KPI benchmarking submissions for MBUK as part of reporting of the McDonald's distributors performance (comparison to Havi)

    Technical Competencies:
  • Maintenance of Planning Analytics
  • Transaction analysis for Central departments from ERP system
  • Development of Interfaces and systems to enhance information collection, provision and understanding
  • Part-qualified accountant (ideally in early stages of CIMA) or qualified by experience
  • Team player
  • Experience of supporting Central/Head Office cost centres
  • Month end experience
  • Advanced use of Excel and strong system skills
  • Experience of producing reports
  • Enjoys managing and analysing high volume of data
