*Job Description: The Caretaker will work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of estates and blocks, meeting residents' expectations and council standards.

*Roles and Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain common areas according to schedules and guidelines.
• Utilize provided equipment and technology for efficient performance.
• Collaborate with team to improve service quality and resident satisfaction.
• Liaise with residents, emergency services, and other relevant parties.
• Conduct regular inspections, report incidents, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed by management.

*Requirements:

• Experience in customer-focused environments, with a track record of meeting targets.
• Understanding of diverse needs of residents and commitment to customer care.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning materials/equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing working patterns and needs of residents.

£16.12 per hour
