As the Continuous Improvement and Quality Inspections lead for our client your duties will include the reinforcement and control of all Quality related functions within the Manufacturing Facility.


Key Duties and Responsibilities for Continuous Improvement & Quality Lead position:

  • To develop, maintain, and communicate, strategies, standards, and improvement processes.
  • The ability to direct members in the undertaking of specific tasks and duties, monitoring progress and reporting upon performance, training, or development requirements
  • Proficient in the implementation of appropriate Quality assurance tools and/or devices
  • Communicating with suppliers to support in the delivery of goods on time and to quality specifications
  • Working with BSI9001 & 14001 requirements.
  • Use of quality tools and techniques such as 5 Why, 8D, PPAP, FMEA.
  • Assessment & approval of incoming materials and products to verify conformity to drawings/specifications.
  • Conducting visual and dimensional analysis, measurement tests and rejecting work as part of an inspection process
  • Record, monitor and report as to jobs status collectively
  • Supporting the function of continuous improvement within the Manufacturing Facility
  • To work closely with the R&D function, attending meetings and auctioning request for development work to be conducted in a structured manner.

You as the new Continuous Improvement and Quality Lead will demonstrate the following skills:

  • Proven record in the establishment of Control processes for Quality assurance procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


  • Strong IT skills

  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • A sound understanding of steel fabrications processes from Welding patterns and procedures through to Jigging, forming, and manipulating steelwork.
  • The ability to read and communicate information taken from engineering drawings
  • Sound communication skills
  • Understanding of drawings
  • Full Driving license
  • Knowledge of process improvements
  • QA background minimum of 3 years
  • Knowledge of Microsoft excel and word (computer literate)

Further desirable Experience for the role of Continuous Improvement & Quality lead:

  • Must be safety cautious ideally, IOSH certificated preferred
  • A background in Engineering steelwork fabrications and precision engineering
  • A knowledge of manufacturing with Fabric's, machining, and quality control
  • Experience in personnel development and management
  • Knowledge of associated industries and products
  • Oil and Gas, Energy production, Antivibration products, and expansion compensators
  • Quality management experience
  • Project planning experience
  • Be available to work offsite if required
