    Climb Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading company in the Sheffield office

    Role: Maintenance Engineer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Interpret equipment and plant layout drawings; mechanical and electrical.
    • Produce documentary evidence and carry out scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with schedule and legislative requirements ensuring that maintenance data records are accurately and promptly updated.
    • Respond to machine and plant equipment breakdowns, carry out necessary repairs and report cause of breakdown.
    • Provide evidence of plant and equipment breakdown occurrences coupled with documented improvement recommendations.
    • A systematic and methodical approach to work organization is required to ensure that our housekeeping standard is maintained in accordance with Company requirements providing visible evidence of compliance.
    Competencies
    • Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimum supervision.
    • Multi skilled.
    • Good fault finding and problem solving skills.
    • Proficient in MS office and other applications.
    • A good understanding and a proactive approach to Health, Safely & Environmental is essential.
    Accountabilities and Performance Measures
    • Plant and equipment breakdowns are addressed in line with company standards.
    • Planned maintenance schedules are adhered to and timeframes met.
    Job Requirements Qualifications
    • Electrical knowledge and a Mechanical bias.
    • Traditional apprenticeship coupled with appropriate technical qualifications; City & Guilds / ONC / HNC in Electrical/ Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
    • Machine tools and CNC controls experience.
    • A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
    Based - Sheffield

    Salary Range - £34,000 to £38,000

    Hours Per Week - 40 hours

    Days Shifts

    Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday - 6am to 2.30pm
