    Staff Nurse – Outpatient (Maternity Cover)

    Basinghall Clinic, 4 Basinghall Street, London, EC2V 5BQ

    £31,500 - £39,400pa– based on experience

    Full time 40 hours

    Maternity Cover:- February July 2024

    Your role as an Outpatients Staff Nurse shall focus on ensuring the provision of high-quality evidence-based nursing care in a clinical setting, working as part of a multidisciplinary team and being responsible for the care you deliver.

    You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Participating in the delivery of a consistent, safe service in all aspects of the patient journey whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service.
  • Managing care of allocated patients.
  • Recognising the needs for DOL's assessments, mental capacity assessment and 'simple' and 'complex' safeguarding referrals and highlight any concerns.
  • Having a working knowledge of emergency policies including cardiac arrest.
  • Deputising for the Senior Staff Nurse in their absence.
  • Relating to the Sister/Charge Nurse/Lead Nurse in regard to professional issues
  • Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • First level registration/ RGN Adult
  • Experience in Community Nursing and/or outpatient Nursing
  • Experience of broad range of specialities and the support they require.
  • Appropriate experience in a Staff Nurse role
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Experience in risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
  • Appropriate knowledge of NMC revalidation process.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal presentation skills & report writing.
  • Computer literate
  • Honest, open-minded, treats colleagues with dignity and respect.
  • Highly energetic, proactive and motivated to deliver high standards of nursing care.
