Position:
Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator (position immediately available)

Salary:
£26,000 - £30,000
**Hours: 40 hours a week

Monday to Friday**
Location: Horsted Keynes, West Sussex (Full uk driving licence required)

Studio Ore is a fast growing manufacturer of high quality, hand finished bathroom taps and fittings based in Sussex. We pride ourselves on using the highest quality materials and techniques to produce beautiful hand finished products in brass which we sell internationally.

Role Overview

This is a role in a small but growing business, it is based at our workshop in Sussex where we have a small but friendly team (along with 3 friendly dogs).

We manufacture premium products and attention to detail and an eye for quality are critical.

You will be expected to perform a variety of functions within the business from receiving and checking incoming parts to packing goods for dispatch.

The role will also include some light assembly work as many of our products have optional parts which are changed at the time of boxing.

We are looking for someone who will take ownership of our product storage in our small warehouse. This will mean ensuring products in their correct place and keeping regular stock counts. This is a role with a variety of different tasks and responsibilities, not simply a box moving job.

Other duties will include,

Ensuring timely receipt and distribution of goods in order to maintain customer service levels
Maintain inventory integrity, including product location, stock count and returns
Maintain up to date stock count in stock management system
Ensure all incoming products are quality checked and that management are notified of quality issues and products returned.
Boxing up products for customer orders
Light assembly duties to ensure customer options are including in the dispatched items
Help monitor packing and shipping material.
Safely operate warehouse equipment.
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment.
Previous experience within a similar workshop/small warehouse environment
Adaptable to various roles within the company
Ability to work within a small flexible team
Desire and ability to take responsibility for incoming and outgoing goods
Organised with an attention to detail
Competent light assembly skills
Some heavy lifting required (up to 25kg)

Please note that our workshop is in a rural location so you must have your own transport. It is not accessible via public transport. As mentioned we have 3 dogs on site so you will need to be ok with dogs.
