    Description

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    As a Trainee QEHS Officer, you'll have the opportunity to:

    Contribute to the maintenance of our QEHS approvals, covering various standards required for the manufacture of medical devices. These being, ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO14001, MDD/MDR, and any appropriate foreign approvals (but not limited to).

    ·Support internal auditing functions and schedules as needed.

    ·Help maintain our calibration and company equipment quality maintenance.

    ·Assist in managing the Quality Management system and product certification.

    ·Participate and Lead in delivering training in QEHS topics.

    ·Contribute to occupational health monitoring efforts as required.

    ·Play a role in the non-conformance system and investigations.

    ·Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures for safe working practices.

    ·Collaborate on delivering service levels for both internal and external customers, while actively promoting Continuous Improvement initiatives.

    ·Make sure employees receive the necessary mandatory QEHS training for their roles.

    ·Leverage any exposure you have to the Quality, Health & Safety function, which is considered desirable.

    ·Support and lead the companies Sustainability initiatives.


    Credentials you will need to excel in this role, you'll ideally have:

    ·Proficiency in English and Mathematics.

    ·A basic understanding of Mechanical engineering principles and process management (assembly or installation).

    ·Completed or undertaken some Quality/Health & Safety courses (desirable).

    ·A strong interest in pursuing or advancing your career in the field of Quality, Sustainability, Health & Safety.

    ·The ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.

    ·Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a knack for building strong relationships with external agencies.

    ·Good analytical, administrative, and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

    ·The capability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.

    ·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


    Training and development will be given to support this role to ensure the business goals are achieved.

    Salary range £28k to £32k (depending on associated experience).
