Spinwell is recruiting for a Risk Management Systems Assistant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ASSISTANT
The post holder will provide cross cover and support to the Risk Analysis and Systems Manager as required.


The post holder will be part of the Risk Management team contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Trust's operational risk management strategy, Health and Safety policy and related work and they will provide the Trust with specialist advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters.


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ASSISTANT

  • Relevant Health & Safety Qualification i.e. IOSH
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Qualification to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with Datix Risk
  • Management System (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience of working in a similar Risk Management setting within the NHS/Healthcare environment.
  • Evidence of undertaking work place risk assessments
  • Evidence of developing policies and procedures
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication (written and oral)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and lead others to do so through excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and escalate where necessary
  • Understanding of the national agenda relating to H&S and risk management
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data
  • Understanding the confidentiality issues in relation to risk and Health and safety
  • Knowledge and experience of MS Office, and the use of other bespoke risk management systems (e.g. Datix)
