Thank you for your interest in becoming a Trustee of the Bentham Moxon Trust.

In this information booklet you will find out about the Trust, about our activities and our relationship with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew).

You can expect a warm and friendly welcome.

The Board comprises six Trustees who have varied interests, knowledge and experience and are all passionate about the work of the RBG Kew.

You will find yourself having lots of interesting discussions with kindred spirits.

Our Board meets twice a year and our meetings are business-like but friendly, and chaired to ensure that all Trustees feel able to fully participate.

Between meetings, we ask that you read all the Board papers that are sent out by our Secretary, Jennifer Alsop, comment as requested, and participate in discussions and activities in line with your skills and particular specialism.

The appointment will be for 5 years.

We will ensure that you have an appropriate induction into the workings of the Trust, the rules which guide us, and the expectations on Trustees, both legal and as part of undertaking this role.
