Job Summary:


We are looking for someone who has experience of working in the electrical engineering sector and someone with experience of delivering training.

You will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable working in a team environment.


Organised, methodical, and accurate, you will be able to learn new systems in a developing environment and have tenacity, perseverance, and a positive approach to deal with problems and change.


Responsibilities:


  • Create and develop training courses to improve customer experience and effectiveness.
  • Provide theoretical and practical training courses to meet the needs of customers.
  • Create course material, presentations, and assessments across all products.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of industry standards and legislation.
  • Implementing training plans and personal development plans for all electricians and developing electricians
  • Ensure that all electrical staff have a full understanding of Health and Safety & environmental policies and requirements.
  • Mentoring and guiding on best practices, processes, and appropriate techniques
  • Driving safetyfirst and maintaining shopfloor standards.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and conduct audits and spot checks to ensure correct use of Personal Protective Equipment and maintenance of equipment.
  • To work safely in accordance with legislative and Company requirements for health and safety and environmental. This includes the reporting of near misses.

Key Skills Required

  • IT skills Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work diligently and with minimum of supervision.
  • Industrial environment experience.
  • Must be a team player with a "Can Do" attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be flexible in approach to workload, willing to take on other tasks, and responsive to changing demands and situations.
  • Strong Electrical/Mechanical technical knowledge (Compex & or HV advantageous)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • You must have, or be working towards, the Level 3 trainer and assessor qualification.
  • You must have or be working towards, relevant qualifications to get the accreditation from Training Bodies
  • You're able to instruct, motivate and assess learners to enable them to reach their full potential.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
