Description
We have a great opportunity for an Electrical Craftsperson - to join our team based at Worthing Hospital.

To efficiently maintain and provide a reliable Engineering, building and grounds services atWorthing and othersites. Performs work including activitieswhich are complex and/or non-routine.
Responsible forcalibration and fault findingon a wide range of plant and equipment.

Undertaking maintenance, repairs, minorimprovement and capital works across the hospital as directed by management,ensuring compliance with hospital safety standards and procedures.

The Electrical Craftsperson will be employed on workappropriate to their core skills.

They will however be expected to perform in areaswheredeemed competentand suitably trained tomultiskilledlevel, with the intention of reaching levels offlexibility and competence to enable them to workindependently or together withother trades.

Technical knowledge and understanding of the following core skill areas are required:

  • Sewage and waste disposal.
  • Air conditioning and ventilation.
  • Boilers, steam and lowpressure hot water, gas fired.
  • Cole water storage tanks.
  • Compressed air plant services and services.
  • Domestic hot water services and water softeners.
  • Generators.
  • Heating services.
  • Kitchen and catering equipment.
  • Medical piped gases and vacuum.
  • BMS controls.
  • Refrigeration plant and services.
  • Steam and condensate, plant and services.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance.
  • Undertake any other duties as appropriate to the banding.
  • Electrical Distribution boards
  • Emergency lighting
  • Fire alarm testing
  • Fixed wire alterations
  • All other engineering services under the control of the Workshop Manager
