    My Client a leading global insurance organization with a rich history spanning a century are seeking a claims assessor who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, particularly to those in vulnerable situations.

    As a Life and Health Claims Assessor, you'll play a crucial role in making fair and informed claims decisions, adhering to industry standards and our own principles.

    Speed and accuracy are paramount, ensuring claims are processed efficiently with the right amount of evidence. Our product spectrum covers Life, Critical Illness, Income Protection, TPD, Business Protection, and Waiver of Premium.
    Expect daily interactions with customers, intermediaries, and service providers, both written and verbal.


    What we expect from you:


    Handle Individual Protection claims from start to finish within predefined authority levels and service benchmarks:Evaluate claims in line with our claims philosophy and policy terms.

    Engage with stakeholders such as members, clients, medical professionals, intermediaries, and regulatory bodies as needed to gather information, explain requirements and decisions, and address appeals or complaints.

    Foster relationships with intermediaries and service providers.
    Contribute ideas for refining the claims process, driving innovation within our operations.
    Collaborate with other departments to deepen understanding of our business and contribute to best practices.
    Represent our company at industry gatherings and forums.


    What we're looking for:

    Essential:

    Minimum GCSEs or equivalentExperience in assessing medical and financial claims across various product linesProficiency in computer usage, numerical and verbal communicationStrong interpersonal skills with resilience and reliabilityCommitment to delivering exceptional customer service and proactive workload managementDesirable:Degree or equivalent CII qualificationPrevious experience with image and workflow systemsWhat you need to know:Competitive salary with performance-based annual bonuses.
