Description
Job description

RedbridgeCVS is the local umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in Redbridge.

We are a small, friendly team based in central Ilford - just 20 minutes by train from Liverpool Street station.

Every year we support over 350 local voluntary and community groups, helping them to flourish and make a difference in their communities.

Since 2013, we have been delivering health and promotion projects and have a strong track record of reaching residents of all age groups, ethnicities, cultures and faiths including at-risk, underserved and disproportionately affected communities.

In response to the current challenges facing communities, our health programme is evolving to focus on using community-centred approaches to tackle inequalities and improve health.

We strongly believe that people should be empowered to take agency and ownership of their own health and wellbeing, and value the insights, experiences, skills and connections in individuals and communities.

We are looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to coordinate and manage a team of 7 outreach workers and community development practitioners and work with the project manager to deliver an agreed set of project outputs and outcomes.

As project coordinator, you will develop and support the team who will work within local communities to promote positive health messages, tackle inequalities, improve health and wellbeing, and address local health issues of concern.

You will also work closely and collaboratively with partner organisations on shared priorities, and share insight gathered to support local health planning and service development.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you

  • At RedbridgeCVS, we recognise that our team is our greatest asset. We aim to create a culture where everyone feels valued, supported and fulfilled.
We offer the following benefits to all our team members:

- _A range of workplace wellbeing initiatives_
- _Flexible working opportunities_
