Within their close-knit finance team there is plenty of support and development opportunities with a viewto progressing into a Management role.

As Trainee Management Accountant you will be working with the Finance Manager on key business decisions on the largest entity within the group, with exposure to national operations and intercompany transactions.


Description
The key responsibilities of the Trainee Management Accountant include:

  • Assisting with monthly management accounts
  • Supporting with prepayments and accruals
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Working with the Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting
  • Working with the Finance Manage on customer sales reconciliations and revenue performance tracking
  • Bank reconciliations & cash flow projections
  • Support in the Payroll for UK business division
  • Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Exposure to Gross Margin analysis for the business
  • Adhoc support as required by the Finance Manager

Profile

The successful Trainee Management Accountant will have:

  • Experience working within a finance function
  • A good working knowledge of Sage 50 is beneficial
  • Confident user of Excel
  • AAT qualified/degree educated or equivalent
