  • Ensuring quality governance forms and integral part of the service and its strategic aims
  • Coordinate joint risk review panel meetings with contractor and, where required, internal governance colleagues
  • Producing report on incidents and risks, and liaising with the contractor to receive the relevant information
  • To present highly complex, sensitive or contentious information to gain cooperation and commitment from diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Identify problems, areas of risk/concern and liaise with contractor's representative and, where required, internal governance colleagues to agree remedial actions to prevent incidents taking place.
  • Develop policies and procedures where required as a result of issues/concerns/risks identified to ensure safe service; the impact of such policy changes may affect areas outside of their remit.
  • Facilitate, perform and implement risk assessments on an ongoing basis, maintain the central record on Datix, develop and monitor action plans.
  • Management of all incidents relating to the service
  • Working with the complaints and PALS teams to triangulating information on incidents, complaints and PALS, to identify trends
