Permanent

£30,160 Per Annum, Generous Overtime & Call Out Rates, 28 Days Holiday Per Year (Inclusive of Bank Holidays), Workplace Pension, Private Healthcare Scheme, Training and Career Development

8am-5pm Monday-Friday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading electromechanical services provider for rotating equipment. My client is searching for a motivated and experienced Mechanical Workshop Engineer to join their busy workshop. The Mechanical Engineer willtake complete responsibility for repairing electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes.

Workshop Engineer

  • Undertaking repair of electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Overhauling a wide variety of pumps, motors, gearboxes.
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and assembly of pumps and other related rotating equipment.
  • Adherence to Health and Safety protocol.
  • Faultfinding on break down equipment.
  • Refurbishment of high and low voltage (AC & DC) electric motors and generators.
  • To be available for call out shifts as per call rota.

Workshop Engineer

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:


  • Proven experience within electrical motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Faultfinding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Computer skills required to basic level.
  • Team player.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours.

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications:


  • Electrical knowledge would be useful.
