    The Company

    Working in the Commercial Interiors Sector this company is a leading workplace strategy, design & build specialist which carries out interior fit outs and refurbishment projects throughout the UK & Ireland. Working with some of the world's leading brands.

    The Architectural Technicians Role

    Working from their Manchester office they are looking for Architectural Technicians, highly proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D to join their expanding in-house Design team. Experience in Revit would also be beneficial but isn't essential at this stage. You will have responsibility for the production of design solutions including drawings, schedules and other documentation required for approval by the client's professional team.

    Responsibilities & Experience of the Successful Architectural Technicians:

    ·Conducting detailed measured site surveys and assessing existing building and finish conditions.

    ·Working closely with Creative Lead Designers, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, developing concept design proposals to detailed architectural fit out drawing packs to budget.

    ·Liaising with clients throughout the building phase.

    ·Document control.

    ·Liaising with sub-contractors, (Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Joinery Manufacturers) collating, checking, and approving their submitted drawings.

    ·Knowledge of building regulations

    ·Knowledge and ability to research suitable building materials and products.

    ·Compiling and submitting information to regulatory agencies (Building Control, Planning etc)

    ·Solid CAD software skills essential.

    ·Experience in Revit advantageous but not critical (with the exception of the London role where this is critical).

    ·Have a good attention for detail and accuracy.

    ·Ability to meet deadlines, be proactive and able to multitask.

    ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
