Accounts Assistant - Brierley Hill, United Kingdom - SF Group
Description
My client is a well known and established engineering organisation based in Dudley. Due to recent growth, they are now looking for additional support within their accounts team.You will be working in a small, friendly and long standing office team ensuring the smooth running of the finance function.
Duties include:
- Processing supplier invoices
- Resolving queries
- Reconciling supplier statements to ledger
- Securing VAT invoice replacements for proforma transactions
- Debit card transactions
- Contra payments & invoices
- Processing employee GBP & currency expenses
- Sales ledger duties: Issuing monthly statements to customers
- Chasing overdue accounts
- Raising invoice & despatch notes to support shipment department
- Prepare backlog order reports
- Weekly contract reporting
- Sales support
- Reception duties: fielding incoming calls
- Any other adhoc duties required
You will have:
- Experience in a varied accounts role
- Experience with accounting software
- Experience in Excel
- Attention to detail
- Proactive mindset
- Able to problem solve autonomously
- Good communicator
- Professional attitude
