Description
My client is a well known and established engineering organisation based in Dudley. Due to recent growth, they are now looking for additional support within their accounts team.

You will be working in a small, friendly and long standing office team ensuring the smooth running of the finance function.


Duties include:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Resolving queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements to ledger
  • Securing VAT invoice replacements for proforma transactions
  • Debit card transactions
  • Contra payments & invoices
  • Processing employee GBP & currency expenses
  • Sales ledger duties: Issuing monthly statements to customers
  • Chasing overdue accounts
  • Raising invoice & despatch notes to support shipment department
  • Prepare backlog order reports
  • Weekly contract reporting
  • Sales support
  • Reception duties: fielding incoming calls
  • Any other adhoc duties required

You will have:

  • Experience in a varied accounts role
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Experience in Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset
  • Able to problem solve autonomously
  • Good communicator
  • Professional attitude
